GAT+ allows Admins to change the Owners, Readers, Writers and other attributes of any Google calendars across the organization.
Simply search for the user and modifying the calendar permissions they have access to.
This is particularly useful for handling departing users.
Start off by searching for the user
Open GAT+ and navigate to Calendar audit
Apply filter and search for Primary User.
Other types of search operators such as owners, writers, and readers are also available.
When the user’s calendar appears, click on the ‘Modify permissions’ button, under Actions.
If it is a Primary Google calendar, the owner cannot be removed or replaced.
An additional owner can be added or removed as a secondary owner
For Secondary calendars, and other non-primary calendars, an Admin can completly remove and replace the original owner.
Add Writers, Readers, and Free/busy readers to a user’s calendar.
Writers – Provides read and write access to the calendar. Private events will appear to users with write access, and event details will be visible.
Readers – Provides read access to the calendar. Private events will appear to users with reader access, but event details will be hidden.
Free/busy readers – Provides read access to free/busy information.
