How to OffBoard a User

How to OffBoard a user from your GSuite domain using GAT+.

GAT Flow helps admins to Create (OnBoard), Modify (existing), and Delete (OffBoard) G Suite users.

To remove (OffBoard) users follow the steps below.

Note: This action cannot be undone. Selected accounts will be deleted. All emails and files once removed can be restored within 20 days using the G Suite Admin Console otherwise they will be gone forever.

Configuration

Launch GAT+ and under Configuration select Flow

When logged in select Create workflow

In Workflow type – pick a name for it and select type to OffBoarding

Click on the Next button.

Under Search for a user – pick an individual User, a Group of users or Org.Unit then click on Proceed to actions.

Choose Actions

In Choose actions – pick individual actions you want to perform on the selected accounts (users) or select the predefined action set

As example:

Delete users from all groups, Force sign out, Migrate emails, and so on.

Once you are happy with the selected actions to be taken, click on Send approval request under the Actions.

A pop-up window will be displayed click Yes to proceed.

The request will be sent to the Security officer.

The workflow results page will be loaded. Click on the Eye icon to view details.

Security Officer

The Security officer will receive an email notification with the request to be approved.

Selecting it will lead to Flow – Approval page where all actions to be taken can be seen.

Select Approve to approve the request.

Note: This action cannot be undone. Selected accounts will be deleted. All emails and files once removed can be restored within 20 days using the G Suite Admin Console otherwise they will be gone forever. Are you sure you want to proceed?

Check all the details for all the requests in Workflow results.

The details will show all the actions done.

The account will be deleted (remove-user) from your domain, Delete a user from all groups, migrate emails, force sign out.
