With GAT+ You can gain insight into the space used by shared drives.

To do so firstly launch GAT+ and move to the Drive section of the panel.

Fetch files

Once you are in the files tab of the drives section you can apply a filter to fetch the total files on the shared drive.

Export

Now you can export the files as shown. Make sure to select ‘Export to Google Sheet without paths’ for the fastest execution. Then click to view the Google Doc.

Result

From the generated Google Doc, you can see the ‘File Size’ column. This data is presented in Byte’s and the sum total shall give you the total accounted for (non-google) files in the drive space.

Note: Google files will not be accounted for in size as google does not allow for this information.
