ActiveID – Dashboard

ActiveID is a new extensive feature in addition to the GAT Shield product.

Many organizations have adopted various Zero trust & multifactor authentication strategies and solutions to secure their domains, mostly requiring key inputs to verify logins. However, Active ID is a whole new way of approaching authentication verification.

Introduction #

ActiveID ensures authenticated user access by working continuously to verify user identity for the device at hand. ActiveID builds a model using an algorithm that utilizes user patterns gathered after some time. In the GAT Shield console admins and delegated auditors can create policies around ActiveID alerts, taking action when necessary such as logging out user accounts.

ActiveID New Modules #

The ActiveID module can be accessed via the GAT Shield console. The module dashboard will present three sections Alerts, Models, Data.

Alerts #

The top view will present Alerts in the forms below:

  • Most recent – an alert for the most recent person
  • Today – how many alerts were triggered today
  • Total – total amount of the “ActiveID” alerts
  • Last 7 Days – the total amount of alerts in the last 7 days
  • Daily Average Last 30 Days – daily average alerts for last 30 days
  • Daily Alerts Distribution – values are clickable and will pop up a window revealing more info on the alert triggered. View the users for whom the ActiveID alert is triggered. You can toggle the visible columns to present whatever data is more relatable to your use case.

Models #

This view outlines the models built for the end-users.

  • Users without protection – See which users do not have enough data (collected Typing patterns) and thus do not have a built model yet. A Model is necessary for “ActiveID” protection.
    • Click to reveal users and more info (filter can be applied to search for users).
  • Users protected – View which users already have a built model (collected Typing patterns) and thus are protected by the “ActiveID”.
    • Click to reveal users and more info (filter can be applied to search for users).
  • User Models Status Summary – click to reveal the list of users and the percentage of who have the “ActiveID” model built and users who don’t have a built model yet.
    • Export this data into a PNG file.

Patterns #

This view gives more in-depth info relating to the “ActiveID” pool.

  • Users without data (all time) – Click to view which users do not have any collected data (typing patterns) yet.
  • Users without data (Last week) – Click to view which users do not have any data collected in the last week.
  • Users without enough patterns – Click to view which users do not have enough data collected to build an ActiveID model.
    • A filter can be applied to search for users:
  • Top users with least patterns – view the top 10 users and their average daily data records.
  • Top users with most average daily patterns – view the top 10 users and their average daily data records.
