# Find Emails Sent and Received by the User with GAT+

Using [GAT+](https://gatlabs.com/products/gat/), a [Google Workspace](https://workspace.google.com/) Admin can fully audit the Email tab. They can view and export any filtered results and work on them for further analysis. The tool allows admins to find emails sent and received by the user within a specific time frame.

## Apply custom filter

By applying a specific filter, GAT+ returns the information sought by Admin.

To find the emails received by a specific user go to:

**Email auditing tab -> User statistics -> Summary Statistics **

Apply a relevant filter that meets the needs:

**Summary email user stats filters -> Type: Stats By Date Range and Users**

This type of filter allows setting up a specific time frame when the system searches for relevant results.

More filter options can be filled in, such as **Group**, or**Org. Unit/Included Sub.Org.**

## Results

The result will give you the stats for the chosen user for the time selected and from what email address the emails were sent/received (internally and externally), etc. In this way, you can find emails sent and received by the user within a specific time frame.
