These actions are available to both Admins and Delegated Auditors. They can access actions via the Google API.<\/p>\n<h2 data-sourcepos=\"5:1-5:19\">Device Actions:<\/h2>\n<ul data-sourcepos=\"7:1-7:64\">\n<li data-sourcepos=\"7:1-7:64\"><strong>Delete the device:<\/strong> Remove the device from the Google Admin Console.<\/li>\n<li data-sourcepos=\"8:1-8:63\"><strong>Wipe the device:<\/strong> Erases all data on the specified device.<\/li>\n<li data-sourcepos=\"9:1-9:66\"><strong>Cancel the device wipe:<\/strong> Halts an ongoing device wipe process, applicable if the device is in a &#8220;pending wipe&#8221; state.\n<ul data-sourcepos=\"7:1-7:64\">\n<li data-sourcepos=\"9:1-9:66\">The device enters the &#8220;pending wipe&#8221; state when you issue a wipe device command but haven&#8217;t sent it yet to the device. The cancel wipe will fail if the wipe command has already been issued to the device.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-sourcepos=\"11:1-11:24\">Device User Actions:<\/h2>\n<ul data-sourcepos=\"13:1-13:72\">\n<li data-sourcepos=\"13:1-13:72\"><strong>Approve the device user:<\/strong> Grants a blocked Google Workspace account access to the device.<\/li>\n<li data-sourcepos=\"14:1-14:87\"><strong>Block the device user:<\/strong> Revokes a Google Workspace account&#8217;s access to the device.<\/li>\n<li data-sourcepos=\"15:1-15:91\"><strong>Cancel the device user wipe:<\/strong> Cancels an unfinished user account wipe. You can use this operation to cancel the device wipe in the gap between the wipe operation returning success and the wiping of the device.<\/li>\n<li data-sourcepos=\"16:1-16:100\"><strong>Delete the device user:<\/strong> Schedules the removal of the Google Workspace account from the device.<\/li>\n<li data-sourcepos=\"17:1-18:0\"><strong>Wipe the device user:<\/strong> Erases the user&#8217;s work account data on the device, leaving personal data unaffected.\n<ul data-sourcepos=\"13:1-13:72\">\n<li data-sourcepos=\"17:1-18:0\">For example, if a Gmail app is installed on a device used for personal and work purposes, and the user is logged in to the Gmail app with their personal account as well as their work account, wiping the &#8220;device user&#8221; actions generally work only with mobile devices.<br \/>\n<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Blocking a device from accessing Google Workspace requires setting context-aware access in your domain.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p translate=\"audit.devices.deviceActions.usage\">When selecting the action, click &#8220;<strong>Confirm<\/strong>&#8221;
