How to View Drive Quota and Set Usage Alerts<\/h2>\n

GAT+<\/a> allows the Google Workspace<\/a> admin to view all the users’ Drive quota usage and the option to automate alert notifications to the Admins and end-users when quota reaches a certain threshold.<\/p>\n

View users quota<\/h3>\n

The admins can view each user of the domain and the quota used individually by each user, as well as apply many filters to find specific data.<\/p>\n

Navigate to GAT+ > Users > Quota<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Google<\/p>\n

View all the users and quota used by each user, filter by Quota used, Quota used for Drive, Quota used for Gmail, and Quota used for Photos.<\/p>\n

Alerts for quota reaching a limit<\/h3>\n

This alert is<\/strong> for the Quota used, <\/strong>which is a combination of the quota used for Drive, Gmail,<\/strong> and Photos<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"GAT+<\/p>\n

Navigate to GAT+ > Alert rules > (+ button) > Add rule<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fill in the details:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Name – Enter the name for the rule<\/li>\n
  • Enabled – enable the rule<\/li>\n
  • Type – select Users<\/li>\n
  • Scope – select the users to whom the rule will be applied<\/li>\n
  • Notify when storage is exceeded<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    \"Google<\/p>\n

    To configure the \u201cNotify when storage is exceeded\u201d alert:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Storage in MB<\/strong> – enter value in MB<\/li>\n
    • % of the total quota, only useful for non-pooled storage<\/strong>\n
        \n
      • Notify user – enter a message to be sent to the user who triggered the alert.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • Save<\/strong> – save the rule<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Result shown in GAT+<\/h3>\n

        When a user triggers the alert, it will be displayed in GAT+ > Alerts<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Send Google Drive Quota Alert Emails to End Users<\/h3>\n

        If you select ‘Notify user’<\/strong>, GAT+ will automatically send an email to the user when their storage quota exceeds the set limit.<\/p>\n
