{"id":1417,"date":"2021-12-13T19:39:14","date_gmt":"2021-12-13T19:39:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gatlabs.com\/knowledge\/?post_type=docs&#038;p=1417"},"modified":"2022-09-21T17:09:10","modified_gmt":"2022-09-21T16:09:10","password":"","slug":"google-drive-copy-multiple-folders-to-multiple-users-in-bulk","status":"publish","type":"docs","link":"https:\/\/gatlabs.com\/knowledge\/tech-tips\/google-drive-copy-multiple-folders-to-multiple-users-in-bulk\/","title":{"rendered":"Google Drive Copy Multiple Folders to Multiple Users in Bulk"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Copy Multiple Folders to Multiple Users in Bulk<\/h1>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gatlabs.com\/products\/gat-flow\/\">GAT Flow<\/a> allows admins to onboard, offboard or modify existing users\/students in bulk and <strong>add any given Folder<\/strong> into their Google Drive.<\/p>\n<p>Allowing any selected group of users to have a <strong>copy of specific folders<\/strong> in <strong>bulk.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This will create a copy of the existing folders and the copy will be placed in the Drive of the selected users.<\/p>\n<p>Below we will show how this can be done with GAT Flow<\/p>\n<h3>Create Workflow<\/h3>\n<p>Navigate to GAT+ &gt; Flow &gt; Create workflow<\/p>\n<p>For this example, we will use the <strong>Modify<\/strong> option<\/p>\n<p>Fill in all the required details<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Name<\/strong> &#8211; enter a name for the workflow<\/li>\n<li>Optional &#8211; Description &#8211; enter a description for the workflow to be taken<\/li>\n<li><strong>Type<\/strong> &#8211; select the workflow type you want to take\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Modify<\/strong> &#8211; modify existing users<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/gatlabs.com\/knowledge\/tech-tips\/conditional-workflows\/\">Conditional flow<\/a> &#8211; this can be used to create a workflow that will be executed based on condition being met<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/gatlabs.com\/knowledge\/tech-tips\/scheduled-time-based-workflows\/\">Run immediately after approval<\/a> &#8211; use if you want to set up a specific date and time for when the workflow to be ran<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5118\" src=\"https:\/\/gatlabs.com\/knowledge\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/2022-09-21-15_58_48-GAT-Flow.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1592\" height=\"823\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gatlabs.com\/knowledge\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/2022-09-21-15_58_48-GAT-Flow.png 1592w, https:\/\/gatlabs.com\/knowledge\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/2022-09-21-15_58_48-GAT-Flow-300x155.png 300w, https:\/\/gatlabs.com\/knowledge\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/2022-09-21-15_58_48-GAT-Flow-1024x529.png 1024w, https:\/\/gatlabs.com\/knowledge\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/2022-09-21-15_58_48-GAT-Flow-768x397.png 768w, https:\/\/gatlabs.com\/knowledge\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/2022-09-21-15_58_48-GAT-Flow-1536x794.png 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1592px) 100vw, 1592px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Click on <strong>Next\u00a0<\/strong>to proceed.<\/p>\n<h3>Select User(s)<\/h3>\n<p>This will lead to a new window <strong>Search for a user\u00a0<\/strong>page.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pick the users to whom you want to copy the folders to<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The users can be selected individually, via group, or by the org. unit of users.
