It offers you an in-depth view of all Google Meets happening on your Domain.<\/p>\n<p>Part of the Meet audit is a feature called <strong>\u201cMeet cost\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cMeet cost&#8221; is a calculation of how much a meeting costs your organization in terms of man-hour cost.<\/p>\n<p>The method used to calculate the cost is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Assign an hourly value per user.<\/li>\n<li>This value is then used to calculate the cost of attendance for the user.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Set up the cost per user<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Navigate to <strong>Configuration \u2192 General \u2192 Average Cost per Hour\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Select currency\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Pick the used currency.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Check the cost per user<\/strong> \u00a0\u2013 Assign costs to users based on individual, group, and OU costs.<br \/>\nYou can find the cost for a specific user by typing a user\u2019s email into this search area. This will identify the highest cost assigned to that user, either directly or via a group or OU.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-43545\" src=\"https:\/\/gatlabs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/screenshot-gs.generalaudittool.com-2021.03.22-15_14_05.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1158\" height=\"842\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>Add cost<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Add a new average cost per user<\/strong> \u2013 a new window will be displayed for you to fill in:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Scope<\/strong> \u2013 Select the scope of users to whom the value will be added.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Value<\/strong> \u2013 Enter the cost per hour per employee.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Save<\/strong> \u2013 Save the cost per user.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"ng-scope\" translate=\"config.avgCost.helpText1\"><strong>Note:<\/strong> In this module, you can add average costs per hour for multiple scopes of users. This cost will be used to calculate the summary cost of &#8216;Google Meets&#8217; taking place in your company. Later we will cover other activities where the user&#8217;s time participation can be accurately measured.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ng-scope\" translate=\"config.avgCost.helpText2\">In case of multiple scope costs over a single user (e.g. Org, Unit, and Group or multiple Groups), the <strong>more specific scope is ALWAYS selected<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li translate=\"config.avgCost.helpText2\">User<strong> overrides<\/strong> Group<\/li>\n<li translate=\"config.avgCost.helpText2\">Group<strong> overrides<\/strong> Org. Unit.<\/li>\n<li translate=\"config.avgCost.helpText2\"><strong> In the case of multiple costs at the User or Group level<\/strong> (where a user is in two different cost groups) &#8211;<strong> the higher cost for the user&#8217;s time is selected.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li translate=\"config.avgCost.helpText2\">Click on the <strong>Save<\/strong> button<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-43454\" src=\"https:\/\/gatlabs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/screenshot-gs.generalaudittool.com-2021.03.19-16_08_02.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1156\" height=\"786\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">View the Cost of Google Meets &#8211; per day<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>When the Meet cost values are set up.
