Admins can also enable this rule based on Time and Scope setup.<\/p>\r\n<h2>Apply Rule<\/h2>\r\n<p>To create a rule, navigate to <strong>GAT Shield<\/strong> (1) &gt; <strong>Configuration (1) &gt; Communication Access (3)<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>Select the available options:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><strong>Block Google Chat (4)<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Block Google Meet (5)<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>Select the <strong>Scope (6)<\/strong> to whom the rule will be applied to and <strong>Update (7)<\/strong> the configuration.<\/p>\r\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-14197 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/gatlabs.com\/knowledge\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Meet-1.png\" alt=\"Shield Communication Access module on the Configuration section that allows setting up the rule that blocks Google Chat and\/or Meets. It is always a good practise to enable the <strong>Use local time zone (3)<\/strong> of the user.
