Suspended Accounts From Google Workspace"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As a Google Workspace Super Admin, you may find it difficult to locate and delete suspended accounts across your Google Workspace domain.<\/p>\n<p>Every organization has its reasons why accounts remain suspended even after the user is offboarded.<\/p>\n<p>You may have a data retention policy or you may need to adhere to legal policies.<\/p>\n<p>Regardless of the reason why you have suspended accounts there comes a time when you will need to permanently delete these suspended accounts.<\/p>\n<h2>Filter suspended accounts<\/h2>\n<p>Navigate to <strong>GAT+ &gt; Users (1) &gt; Basic (2)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On the right side click on the <strong>funnel icon (3) &gt; Apply custom (3)<\/strong> button, to apply the filter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Optional:<\/strong> You can add additional filters such as specific user, group, or org. unit of users to narrow down your scope.<\/p>\n<h3>Result of filter<\/h3>\n<p>When the filter is applied, the <strong>result will show only suspended accounts<\/strong> (that are not deleted)<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" result.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Deleted will be equal to No<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Suspended will be equal to Yes<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Export the data<\/h2>\n<p>When the result is found for the Suspended users, you can <strong>export<\/strong> this data into a Google spreadsheet (or CSV).<\/p>\n<p>Click on the <strong>export<\/strong> button on the top right and <strong>export to sheet<\/h3>\n<p>When the Google spreadsheet is exported open it and <strong>edit the info inside<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Search for the IS_DELETED column (1) <\/strong>and change the type to <strong>exit<\/strong> and <strong>save<\/strong> the spreadsheet.<\/p>\n<h2>Import changes<\/h2>\n<p>In the same tab Users &gt; Basic click on the <strong>Import<\/strong> <strong>data (1)<\/strong> will be displayed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Type = Delete (1) <\/strong>meaning the<strong> action will be to delete the users.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone and look for the column <strong>Deleted <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Under this column, you can see what will happen after you proceed to delete the users.
