All copy actions require approval from a nominated Security Officer and are fully logged for audit and compliance purposes.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"925\" data-end=\"1205\">Using Unlock, admins can create copies of files or folders from any user\u2019s Drive and place them in another user\u2019s Drive or in a Shared Drive. This is especially useful when access to content is required for review, investigation, or archiving, but ownership must remain unchanged.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why make a duplicate?<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>You may want a copy of a file with an external owner.<\/li>\r\n<li>Reviewing a file and its content without the owner becoming by the filter for security reasons is not allowed.<\/p>\r\n<p>T<strong>he files and folders you want to be copied must be selected.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<h3>External or Internal copy<\/h3>\r\n<p><strong>Externally owned files can ONLY be copied if a local user has EDIT rights to the file<\/strong>. Files shared &#8216;Read Only&#8217; can not be copied. This is a Google restriction.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Approval of Security Officer Needed<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>To be able to make duplicates or copies of files or folder content, you need the approval of your nominated security officer; one of them will have to approve.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Security Officers will get your request via email.
