adding users (permissions) to the file<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Remove<\/strong> &#8211; removing users (permissions from the file<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Replace <\/strong>&#8211; replacing users (permissions) from the file<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Before you remove permissions for \u2018Docs shared out with link\u2019 it is best practice to automatically inform your users of those shares, allow your own users to take the initiative to clean up the share.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>If the shares have not been removed in the allocated time period, as a super Admin you can remove those permissions from Drive Audit.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Remove Google Drive Permissions<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Find the files with the Sharing permissions you want to remove.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>In <strong>GAT+ &gt; the Shares will not be removed, only the report will be generated and sent to owners &#8211; if the option chosen<\/li>\r\n<li>Notify local users &#8211; If the option is used &#8211; the users will receive an email as explained above including the Email subject and Email message.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Save settings<\/strong> &#8211; GAT+ will record the removal of these shares in the Admin Log. After completing a new scan of the Drive metadata, GAT+ will display the results, showing the removal of public and public with link shares from the selected files.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Keep record<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Finally, before removing some or all of these permissions.
