It also can be used to onboard, offboard, and modify existing users. There are many manual or automated actions that can be taken.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, this action can also be used during <strong>Offboarding or<\/strong><strong> Modifying<\/strong> existing<strong> workflows.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Creating workflow<\/h2>\n<p>When Flow is launched, click on<strong>\u00a0Create workflow.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The action can also be done in <a href=\"https:\/\/gatlabs.com\/knowledge\/tech-tips\/workflow-triggered-by-an-event-on-users\/\">Event<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/gatlabs.com\/knowledge\/tech-tips\/recurring-workflows\/\">Recurring<\/a> workflows.<\/p>\n<p>Enter the details for the workflow.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Name<\/strong> &#8211; enter a name for the workflow<\/li>\n<li><strong>Description<\/strong> (optional)- enter a description for the workflow<\/li>\n<li><strong>Type<\/strong> &#8211; select <strong>Modify<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Offboard can also be selected<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/gatlabs.com\/knowledge\/tech-tips\/conditional-workflows\/\">Conditional flow<\/a> &#8211; enable if you want to create a conditional workflow<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/gatlabs.com\/knowledge\/tech-tips\/scheduled-time-based-workflows\/\">Run immediately after approval<\/a> &#8211; user if you want to schedule the job to be run in future time<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5197 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/gatlabs.com\/knowledge\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/2022-09-28-17_27_20-Window.png\" alt=\"Created workflow to wipe calendars\" width=\"1934\" height=\"841\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gatlabs.com\/knowledge\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/2022-09-28-17_27_20-Window.png 1934w, https:\/\/gatlabs.com\/knowledge\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/2022-09-28-17_27_20-Window-300x130.png 300w, https:\/\/gatlabs.com\/knowledge\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/2022-09-28-17_27_20-Window-1024x445.png 1024w, https:\/\/gatlabs.com\/knowledge\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/2022-09-28-17_27_20-Window-768x334.png 768w, https:\/\/gatlabs.com\/knowledge\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/2022-09-28-17_27_20-Window-1536x668.png 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1934px) 100vw, 1934px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Then click <strong>Next <\/strong>to proceed.<\/p>\n<h3>Select users to wipe calendars for<\/h3>\n<p>In the<strong> Search for a user <\/strong>tab,\u00a0pick the users you want to Wipe calendars for.<\/p>\n<p>The users can be selected individually, as part of a Group, Org. unit, or can be imported via a spreadsheet.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5198 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/gatlabs.com\/knowledge\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/2022-09-28-17_33_52-Window.png\" alt=\"searching for users, groups, or OU for which data needes to be wiped\" width=\"1587\" height=\"861\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gatlabs.com\/knowledge\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/2022-09-28-17_33_52-Window.png 1587w, https:\/\/gatlabs.com\/knowledge\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/2022-09-28-17_33_52-Window-300x163.png 300w, https:\/\/gatlabs.com\/knowledge\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/2022-09-28-17_33_52-Window-1024x556.png 1024w, https:\/\/gatlabs.com\/knowledge\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/2022-09-28-17_33_52-Window-768x417.png 768w, https:\/\/gatlabs.com\/knowledge\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/2022-09-28-17_33_52-Window-1536x833.png 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1587px) 100vw, 1587px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When the users are chosen and selected <strong>click on Proceed to actions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Add actions to Wipe the user&#8217;s calendar<\/h3>\n<p>In the <strong>Choose actions,<\/strong> select the action from the list available.<\/p>\n<p>Click on the <strong>+ button (2)<\/strong>, from the <strong>pop-up menu search<\/strong> for and select <strong>Wipe user calendar (3)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>Note: <\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>As a result of this action &#8211;<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Events shared with others will disappear from the guests&#8217; calendars. They&#8217;ll become effectively canceled and they&#8217;ll still appear in the calendar&#8217;s event summary sheet.<\/li>\n<li>Additionally, for each event that the user has been invited to, the invitation will become declined, even if it was accepted prior to this action. This will allow actions to be taken without the need for approval on every request.<\/p>\n<p>The request will allow the officer to approve the request in Flow directly. When approved the action will be set to run.<\/p>\n<h2>Result<\/h2>\n<p>The result of the approved request can be seen in Workflow (1).<\/p>\n<p>The Status will be shown as &#8220;requested&#8221; if the workflow hasn&#8217;t been approved.
