Effortless User Management:\u00a0 How to Remove Users from Google Vault Holds<\/h3>\n

GAT Flow<\/strong><\/a> allows you to manage your domain users conveniently by setting up the workflows that will trigger mass actions.<\/p>\n

One of them is to remove your users from the Google Vault hold<\/strong><\/a> set up earlier.<\/p>\n

You can delete the users’ holds by following the steps outlined below.<\/p>\n

Select action<\/h2>\n

The action Remove user from hold<\/strong> can be performed either on a one-off regular workflow (Create workflow<\/strong>),\u00a0 Even workflow<\/a>, or Recurring workflow<\/a>.<\/p>\n

To create a workflow that removes user(s) from Google Vault hold, add the relevant action into it by clicking on the ‘Add action’<\/strong> + button (left side of the graph).<\/p>\n

The available actions will be displayed by default.<\/p>\n

Search and select Remove user from hold<\/strong> action.<\/p>\n

When the action is selected fill in the required details.<\/p>\n

Select the existing Matter and Hold name that you want the user to be removed from.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

  1. Matter \u2013 Select the Matter you need<\/li>\n
  2. Hold \u2013 Select the Hold<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    When the workflow is ready click on Send approval request<\/strong> (3).<\/p>\n

    Results<\/h2>\n

    Finally, the workflow needs to be approved by the Security Officer.<\/p>\n

    Once the request is approved, the workflow will execute, and users will be removed from the Google Vault hold.<\/p>\n

    To check the results, navigate to the Workflow<\/strong> section and select the workflow that removes the Google Vault hold. Click on the ‘eye’ icon on the right side of the workflow to view the Result details <\/strong>(shown in the below screenshot).<\/p>\n
