Find all empty Google groups (without any members internal or external ) and their aliases in order to show when they were last used
It will display the primary group email and its aliases showing when it was last used.
Finding empty groups #
Navigate to GAT+ > Groups > Last used address
- Apply a custom filter.
- Under Type select Empty groups last used address.
- Click on Apply
Additionally, an Admin can see in what area ( drive, email, calendar ) the group primary email and its aliases were last used.
If the Addresses are not used, they can be deleted.
Take action #
The Admin can take action on the group.
The Admin can:
- Show local users
- Show all members
- Show external members
- Show group events
- Show last used addresses
- Copy this group
- Delete this group
- Add a member to this group
- Delete members from this group
Navigate to Groups > Find the group needed > Click on (arrow button) under Actions > Delete this group
Click on Delete this group to clear up your domain from Groups not used.
