How to Enable the Principal Feature #
- Navigate: Go to “Teacher Assist” > “Admin” > “Administration”
- Add Access Right: Click the “+” button.
- Select User: Choose “User” and enter the principal’s email.
- Enable Principal Feature: Select “Principal” and toggle to enable.
- Apply: Click “Apply” to save.
By following these steps, the “Principal” feature will be successfully enabled for the specified user in the domain.
Once enabled, the user for whom this function is enabled will be able to access and view the Principal feature.
How to Get the Report #
The Report will show a historical view of all the Classroom or Teacher Assist groups in Teacher Assist.
The report (1) can be selected for different time ranges (2):
- Today
- Yesterday
- This week
- Last week
- This month
- Last month
View detailed information for the session that occurred.
Please select any of the sessions and view their details.
- Time – the time when the classroom session occurred
- Teachers – list of teachers and who was connected or not
- Students – list of students who were corrected or not
How to View Live Classes #
The live classes allow the Principal to view all currently active classroom sessions that occur in the domain.

- Purpose of “Watch Live”:
- Clicking “Watch Live” opens a classroom session, allowing the principal to observe teachers and students in real-time.
- The interface resembles what teachers see during their sessions.
- Principal’s Role:
- The principal does not control the teacher’s actions but can observe both teachers and students.
- Key features available to the principal during live sessions:
- View Browsing History: Access students’ browsing activity.
- Maximize Viewing Window: Zoom in for a clearer view of student actions.
- View Google Drive: Observe the student drive’s structure (no access to individual files).
- Pin Student: Highlight a specific student for focused observation.
